Paint Correction — What It Is and Isn’t
Paint correction is a machine-polishing process aimed at reducing the visibility of swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation and haze in the clear coat. It’s different from a basic polish — it targets specific defects rather than just adding shine over the top of them.
Not every defect can be corrected. Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat, or paint with very little clear coat left from previous over-polishing, may not respond well or may need a different solution entirely. During inspection, our technician checks the paint condition and tells you honestly what level of improvement is realistic before starting — we won’t promise a result the paint can’t deliver.

Exterior detailing goes several steps further: a safe pre-rinse and wash, chemical and clay decontamination to lift bonded particles, careful drying, machine polishing where the paint condition calls for it, and a protection step at the end.
